We are mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, students young and old, married people and single people who have a lot on their real life plates, but do not want to be left out of the fun of playing The Lord of the Rings Online because we cannot join a group for hours on end grinding for experience points. This does not mean if you have plenty of time to play, you can not join. We have many members that do have lots of time to play. Our lives revolve around our real lives. Gaming is something we enjoy when we have time.

Our members have real lives that take precedence, which means that at any given time they may have to log out with little warning. This includes in the middle of a quest, or a group hunt, or at any time they need. If this means that the quest has to be finished another day...so be it. Perhaps we can find someone to replace those who have to leave the quest.

Thintaur is not a power leveller's or raider's haven and yet we have members from levels 1 to 50. We play as a kinship or as solo players. We particpate in all aspects of the game as kinsmen and with other kinships with whom we are friends. We take care of one another. Sometimes we have an hour, or maybe less, and if we get lucky we have several hours or by a stroke of luck, all day or evening.

We have members in the Australia, Europe, and the United Staes - no one will be excluded because of time zones. No one will be shunned if the day they are on, they want to just run a few solo quests, or hunt alone. We all have those "days" that we don’t want to be around others, and just want to immerse ourselves in this virtual fantasy land that Turbine was so gracious to create.
