I've given up for now on an event calendar. None that I tried are ready for primetime with Joomla 1.5 (the content manager system this website is written with).

As a substitute I've created to blog pages: one for repeating events and one for one time only events. The newest posted events will show up at the bottom of your screen under their respective headings.

I've got the zOOm media gallery working from the front end now, so people will be able to upload pictures and videos once we go live.

Site is almost complete with regard to layout and have been busy moving content over from old site. Think I will finish that task during the week.

Last thing to do.....and this is the tough one.....is to transfer the old forum databases over to the new forum. Found instructions on how to do it, but I'm not looking forward to it. Keep your fingers crossed as I will attempt this in the upcoming weekend.

Still looks like we can go live before end of month assuming everything doesn't go poof on me with the forum transfers.
