Event Rules Print E-mail

In order to avoid a lot of delays in getting organized and started on Planned Events (with special emphasis on planned quest runs, instances, and raids) and to avoid misunderstandings and hurt feelings, it is necessary for us to have a few simple rules. Therefore, please read the following (and commit them to memory, there will be a test Tongue out ).

1. Planned events can be planned by anyone in the kinship. Please make a post in the appropriate category (repeating or one time event) and also send out a kinship mail letter in-game. Provide pertinent information in your post (please read this post guide)

2. The best person to lead the fellowship is the person who not only understands the quest, instance, or raid, (for brevity's sake fellowship will also mean raid group from here on) but can think through strategically and provide guidance to the fellowship without coming across as a tyrranical maniac. How long you have been with the kinship or what level your toon is are immaterial to this endeavor. Since it is impossible to know for sure who is going to be the best leader and someone has to make that decision, the person organizing the event (i.e., the person who announces the event on this webstie and in-game kinship mail) is the leader of the fellowship unless they decide to turn it over to someone else.

3. If you want to be leader and believe you have the credentials to do so, then politely inform the person organizing the event through a tell.

4. If you are not chosen to lead the fellowship by the person organizing the event, do not get offended. You will have other chances or you can form an event yourself at a later date

5. It should be assumed that any planned event has no level restriction, unless a level restriction is put in the announcement.
